Renovations are complete at Zona Rosa in Kansas City! Improvements included two new green space areas, upgraded building facades, improved landscaping, public art and additional walkways throughout the development.
A building was torn down to create North Park, a new community green space featuring outdoor seating, lawn games, and event activities. This is home to The Rink at Zona Rosa, an outdoor ice skating rink for skating, hockey and curling during the winter.
The former Town Square has been renamed Central Park and offers more green space with a new splash park, kids playscape, covered outdoor seating and an event stage for festivals and live music.
“These upgrades have significantly impacted the overall Zona Rosa experience,” said Scott Zigler, Zona Rosa’s General Manager. “Now, visitors enjoy a multi-faceted experience filled with a new sense of place, in addition to a wide variety of available retail offerings.”
54th Street Grill is also be expanding to include an outdoor recreational area with sport courts, outdoor seating, fire pits and live music.
