A highly visible Shawnee Mission Parkway retail building will soon welcome two exciting new health and wellness tenants later this year, bringing the development to full occupancy.
Pvolve, the Jennifer Aniston–backed strength training fitness studio, will open in the 1,800 SF space at 4150 Shawnee Mission Parkway, next to Starbucks. Known for its low-impact, resistance-based workouts, Pvolve offers a functional fitness method focused on mobility, stability, and long-term health. Designed with women in mind, the method emphasizes longevity and inner strength. In addition to in-studio classes, Pvolve also offers a virtual streaming platform. The Fairway studio will be the first Pvolve location in the Kansas City market.
The franchisees are also introducing another innovative wellness concept to the area: Pause Wellness Studios. Pause offers infrared sauna, cold plunge, flotation therapy, cryotherapy, and other modern, holistic wellness services. The studio features private suites and provides both individual services and membership options.
Pause Wellness Studios is entering the market with two locations. The first location, at the Prairiefire development at 135th Street and Nall Avenue, opened in December. The second location will occupy the 2,500 SF space next to Pvolve in Fairway, bringing the center to 100% occupancy.
“We are thrilled to have found the perfect spot for both Pvolve and Pause to create health and wellness synergy in Fairway,” said Tiffany Ruzicka, Partner and Director of Retail Brokerage for AREA Real Estate Advisors. “There is a growing demand for healthy lifestyle options in neighborhood retail settings, and Fairway’s community answers this call for these passionate business owners.”
AREA’s Tiffany Ruzicka transacted all three leases.
