Mas Cantina Adds Flare to Meadowbrook Shopping Center

Sep 24, 2025

Later this year, Meadowbrook Shopping Center will welcome Rulber’s Restaurant Mas Cantina, a 4,559-square-foot upscale Mexican dining concept from the owners of Mi Ranchito. The locally owned and operated restaurant will bring a fresh addition to the thriving Prairie Village retail scene at the northeast corner of 95th Street & Nall Avenue.

Founded in 2004 by Rulber De la Torre, Mi Ranchito has grown to seven locations across the metro. Building on that success, Rulber’s will introduce an elevated take on Mexican dining while maintaining the welcoming, neighborhood feel the team is known for.

The new restaurant will take over the former Another Broken Egg space and join a dynamic mix of tenants at Meadowbrook, including The Big Biscuit, Aqua-Tots Swim School, Betty Rae’s Ice Cream, The Bar Prairie Village, Primrose School, Kansas City Ballet, KC Pro Soccer, and NSPJ Architects.

“With a reputation for creating beloved neighborhood restaurants, we are excited to bring this new concept to Prairie Village and continue expanding our footprint in the Kansas City metro,” said De la Torre.

AREA Real Estate Advisors’ Tiffany Ruzicka and Patrick Kohnle represented De la Torre in the transaction.
