Jason Leone is a seasoned Property Manager at AREA, with extensive experience in operations, finance, and tenant services within the Kansas City market. He specializes in daily property operations, budgeting and financial oversight, vendor and contract management, tenant relations, and coordinating capital and operational projects aligned with ownership objectives.
Prior to joining AREA, Jason served as an Assistant Property Manager with CBRE, where he managed annual budgeting, reconciliations, reforecasting, variance analysis, and expense control. He guided both capital and operational projects from scope development to completion, collaborating with engineering teams, vendors, and tenants to ensure efficient, high-quality building performance.
Jason’s earlier experience includes managing a retail portfolio at Colliers International, where he supported annual budgets and forecasts, financial reporting for ownership groups, vendor invoicing, delinquency tracking, and the administration of contracts for annual and special projects. He began his commercial real estate career at Tower Properties, supporting operations across a 12-building portfolio while working directly with tenants, engineering teams, and leasing to maintain service standards and support daily operations.
Jason holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, both from Avila University. He is licensed in Missouri and Kansas and holds the Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) designation from IREM, currently working towards his CPM certificate. Jason resides in Overland Park, Kansas, with his wife, Jessica, and their two daughters, Lucy (3) and Charlotte (1). Outside of property management, he is actively involved in youth sports and coaches high school baseball at Pembroke Hill School.
