Zona Rosa is getting an upgrade! Renovations are on a roll, adding new green spaces for public use in place of vacant storefronts. This multi-million dollar renovation is planning for a 34,569 SF demolition of empty retail space just south of the Dillard’s. The green space will be open to the public and used for community events and a place for shoppers/customers to relax and unwind. In addition to the green space, they will be redoing the Town Square and turning it into a splash park, including a new stage and covered outdoor seating for people to enjoy live music and performances.
Renovations for phase one are projected to be completed by the spring 2021, which includes the new Town Square and green space. Scott Zigler, Zona Rosa’s general manager is hoping for more phases and growth of Zona Rosa, building more multi-family, offices, hotels and of course, retail.
