The 95th Street & Metcalf Avenue intersection is booming with major renovations to office and retail properties. First, the five-building office and retail complex on the south-west corner of 95th and Metcalf is getting a facelift! Exterior renovations for the office have begun and are scheduled to be complete the first week of June. Renovations include painting of the exterior. Photos of the progress can be seen above. Secondly, the well-known ‘Metcalf South Mall,’ was purchased by LANE4 Group and Columbia-based partner, The Kroenke Group. The demolition and construction process has begun. Metcalf South Mall is located on the south-east corner of 95th St & Metcalf Ave. Demolition will likely be complete in late spring of this year with full construction scheduled to begin this fall. Potential tenants have yet to be announced, however the project plans for a number of smaller retail buildings and restaurants.
