Westport Gains Multi-Concept Entertainment Venue

Westport is bringing a new creative concept into the former 13,000 SF HopCat space at 401 Westport Road in Westport. Fountain Haus, a multi-level entertainment venue will include four  themed spaces to enjoy with all different vibes in each room.

The themes of the four spaces include a rooftop “pool” deck, The Siren Speakeasy, The Cube and The Pump Room. The Pool Deck, will not have a pool, but will offer a Palm Springs vibe with lifeguard bartenders, entertainment and dancing. The Siren Speakeasy, located in the former TikiCat basement space, is reservation-only and will feature cocktails, small plates and an intimate atmosphere. The Cube, a room you don’t want to skip out on, will be a dance club with DJ’s, cabarets and dancers. The final room, The Pump Room, will be the main lounge and dining area that offers small plates, dinner and weekend brunches.

Each room has a different slated opening date. The Cube is anticipated to open late January 2022, with the Pool Deck to follow in hopes for a St. Patrick’s Day opening, The Siren is scheduled for an April opening.

The owners, David Brinkerhoff and Ryan Overberg, said it will be a place for the LGBTQ community and its allies to gather and have a variety of experiences in one building.
