Hand & Land, a women-led business is opening at the newly restored Luzier Cosmetics Building at 3216 Gillham, in Kansas City. They will occupy 1,700 SF on the south side of the building. The lifestyle shop, which opened at Park Place in Leawood in 2015, will be moving to their new location this fall. Hand & Land owners, Jessica Moler and Nicole Lobdell, are dedicated to offering natural and organic beauty products, essential oils, jewelry, home goods and gifts.
Not everyone knows that on average women use 12 personal care products a day that contain roughly 168 different chemical ingredients that can contribute to toxic build up, illness and disease. In comes Hand & Land, which was opened so that everyone has access to high quality, plant based products in our area. All makers at Hand & Land mirror the same value of a natural, mindful lifestyle of intent and beauty. Their shelves contain a refreshing assortment of specialized goods ranging from organic beauty products, hair care, botanical fragrances, jewelry and home goods. Each product is hand selected while undergoing an ingredient check. Ingredients must be free of any chemicals locked (part of their “Toxic Ten”), provide healing benefits, be sustainable by nature or design, organic, wild crafted or as natural as possible.
