Lightwell has inked three new leases, totaling about 15,000 square feet in the 30-story office building at 11th and Main Street downtown. The city’s office market trend shows that companies are being drawn to the best-in-class office buildings, and with a more than $20 million renovation to the lobby and common areas, Lightwell fits the bill. The renovations and premier location only continue the momentum the building is seeing. The vision was to attract the fastest growing industries with its next-generation amenities, and lightwell is doing just that. The most recent activity at lightwell includes:
1. Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC), a full-service engineering firm, leased 5,200 SF, relocating from 1301 Oak Street.
2. Division-D, a digital advertising firm, is expanding for the third time in Lightwell, bringing the companies footprint to nearly 6,000 SF.
3. A professional services firm, who’s name cannot be disclosed, has leased nearly 4,000 SF.
Aside from the office tenants, Menlo Food Labs, a Strang Chef Collective, will be opening in the building, as well as a Made in KC café. To read more about lightwell’s new leases in the Kansas City Business Journal, click here.
AREA’s Hank Simpson, Sean Craven, and Tim Schaffer lease the building and AREA’s Property Management team manages the building.
