1511 Baltimore, the Historic Lowe & Campbell Building, prominently located in the Crossroads Arts District became home to Platform Ventures in spring 2021. Platform Ventures founded in 2008, believes there are always new opportunities in real estate. With an entrepreneurial approach, they help clients find value and deliver returns, whether investing in real estate assets or operating companies.
Platform Ventures took 15,000 SF of space on two floors. They chose the building for a number of reasons, but particularly for the following:
• Great Crossroads location on the streetcar line
• Class-A amenity set that is rarely seen in small office buildings, including a fitness center and rooftop events / conference space
with an outdoor patio
• Big, operable windows with skyline views of downtown
• Owner / occupied
1511 Baltimore had been 100% owner occupied prior to Platform Ventures moving in. The building provides incredible, unobstructed views of both the downtown skyline and Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. In 2015, the building went under major renovations incorporating Class A finishes throughout. 1511 Baltimore is also just one block from the downtown streetcar, giving you carefree transportation to many of Kansas City’s top food & entertainment spots!
AREA’s Sean Craven & Tim Schaffer represented the landlord in the transaction.
